I’ll never forget it. Two kids started arguing during playtime. Voices rose, toys flew, and I froze.

I’d just finished a “behavior management” course the week before, but in that moment, my mind went blank. Nothing from the training came back.

That’s when I realized: reading or watching isn’t learning. If I can’t recall what I’ve learned when it matters, what’s the point?

Training should prepare you for real-life challenges, not just fill an annual requirement.
