Rennu Dhillon, DSc., has been described as "a woman of many talents". A well know Bay Area resident & community activist, Rennu has been in the United States since 1986. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Pharmacy & Doctor of Science in Natural Sciences. She was born & raised in Kenya, East Africa and completed education in England. Rennu was academically a brilliant student and placed 1st in the Coast Province of Kenya and 2nd overall in the country in the high school examinations. She made several contributions to news publications during her academic years and began writing poems and articles at age 8. Genius Kids is now a national franchise with over locations in California & Pennsylvania. Genius Kids is recognized as the Harvard of Early Learning. She has authored 2 best selling books. One was part of an anthology series, “Break Free to Stand in Your Power” and the second book focused on the importance of instilling confidence and public speaking in children, “Raise Confident Children, Today’s Kids, Tomorrow’s Leaders”.

Genius Kids was started by Rennu Dhillon in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA, its first center in Fremont in 2001. Today it boasts 27 centers in several cities all around the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento & Pennsylvania. The center has won numerous awards and has been recognized as being "The School the Shapes Tomorrow's Citizens". In 2014 Genius Kids has been recognized as the 26 best schools in the world by TV 5 Monde and by CNNmoney.com as a Visionary that Dares to Dream.

Rennu believes that everyone is born a “Genius” and as educators and parents, it is our responsibility to “Awaken” the “Inner Genius” in our kids. Her unique instructional methods & stimulating curriculum, with the high energy paced classrooms filled with laughter, dance & fun learning has resulted in amazing personalities emerging, winning several district young author competitions, promotions to next grade levels and children as young as age 5 passing the Stanford University Gifted and Talented Education Grade 3 Math programs with 100%. Many of her students have been selected for the John Hopkins Center of Talented Youth Search and got into Ivy League colleges.

Rennu’s Reading, Math & Science Programs have children as young as age 2.3 mastering fluent reading & speaking skills, with confidence and the ability to think for themselves. Her curriculum is unique to Genius Kids Learning Centers. Parents are astounded at the results and differences in their children’s education within a short period of time of enrolling at Genius Kids. Genius Kids was recently rated "Best of the East Bay" in Services by East Bay Express Publication and was awarded "Most Likely Place to find a Silicon Valley Inventor". Dhillon believes that in order to survive in today’s fast paced ever changing world, we need to create confident, happy & successful citizens who will become future leaders. “Our children are our future, and their brains are like fired waiting to be ignited. Genius Kids is the instrument of ignition and inspiration, which has to be applied at the right time, between birth and age 6.” Her curriculum focuses on developing public speaking and communication skills right from the day a child discovers their own voice.

Her staff is personally trained by her to work with children individually advocating free expression and out of the box thinking in the classrooms. The instructors and curriculum are designed to promote independent thinking, always encouraging children to assimilate what is learnt in class with real life situations. Dhillon was described by Mood Indico Magazine as “Making the Difference, one child and one woman at a time”.

A firm believer that every human has the right to receive proper education, Rennu founded the successful San Francisco India Pageants, a scholarship pageant in 1993 (now been renamed NRI Global Pageants.) This high-qualityproduction provides an opportunity where young Indo-American men and women from Northern California showcase their talents, competing for cash scholarships. She has trained her winners to win several national pageants - such as Miss Asia American and Miss Asian California Pageants.

Today she continues to empower women and children by organizing the annual Women Empowerment North America Awards as well as through her You Tube Channel, Candid Conversations with Rennu Dhillon. She manages a well-known social media group called Building Women Empowered, where she empowers and helps women in need worldwide
