Insights from McCormick Leadership Connections 2024

Sarah DixonArticles

From February 7th to 9th, the Inspire Care 360 team attended the McCormick Leadership Connections 2024 conference in Chicago, Illinois. Hosted by McCormick Center for Early Childhood Leadership, this event proved to be a pivotal gathering for childcare owners, operators, and teachers alike. With the conference theme “Mission Possible: Reconnect, Reignite, Reimagine,” attendees were invited to dive into discussions and presentations aimed at revitalizing the early childhood education (ECE) landscape.

Our team, represented by Jessica Wright, General Manager and Senior Vice President of Operations, and Rachel Warren, Member Advocate, embarked on a journey of learning, networking, and inspiration. We’re thrilled to share some highlights and insights from their experience at this incredible event.

The conference kicked off with a warm Welcome Reception, where we had the pleasure of mingling with fellow attendees. The atmosphere was filled with excited childcare and daycare leaders. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with peers and establish new relationships.

  • Diverse Range of Speakers and Topics
One of the standout features of the conference was the diversity of speakers and topics covered. From discussions on leadership strategies to sessions focused on the latest trends in early childhood education, there was something for everyone. The wealth of knowledge shared by the speakers left us feeling inspired to make positive changes for ECE professionals.

  • Exhibitor Space Setup
We were impressed by the thoughtful layout of the exhibitor space, which made navigating the room and making connections a breeze. The open layout encouraged meaningful interactions between attendees and exhibitors, building valuable connections. Kudos to the organizers for creating such a great environment for networking!

  • Meeting Illinois Action for Children
One of the highlights of our experience was meeting with Illinois Action for Children, a like-minded organization committed to promoting child welfare and development. Making this connection was a step forward in our mission to enhance the quality of childcare services through our Membership for childcare and daycare business owners.
