About Kathy

Kathy joins us with over 32 years in the Early Childcare and Education industry. Kathy graduated from Slippery Rock University with a degree in special education and received her M.Ed in education from Regent University.

With 5 years of certified mentorship experience and nearly 30 of mentoring in her admin team, directors, student teachers, and staff, Kathy is a seasoned mentor and coach. Kathy works with business owners to be the best they can be by inspiring vision, productivity, and a level head to work through problems together.

Why is having a mentor so important?

Having a mentor for me personally has given me the confidence, accountability, and clear vision to help me throughout my career. Having a neutral party who can work through things with you can put your ideas and strategies in a different light.

Where do you offer the most benefit as a Coach/Mentor?

I offer the most benefit when it comes to acquisition, corporate structure, director coaching, owner roles & responsibilities, and something we don’t always follow as owners; owner work/life balance.On a different level, I bring an attitude of empathy and compassion to those I coach and mentor.As an owner, empathy and compassion are needed more than you may realize.

I am empathetic and compassionate towards those who I coach and mentor. I work hard to understand exactly what they are trying to accomplish. Drawing from my 32 years of experience, I use a questioning model which will allow you to learn to problem-solve independently and gain confidence.
